The Schumacher SC-6500A SpeedCharge Automatic Battery Charger is part of the "SpeedCharge" line of chargers, the state of the art in battery charging technology. An internal computer controls the charge rate while monitoring the battery condition to insure the battery is not overcharged. With SC-6500A electronic technology, you can hook up the battery, set the controls, and walk away. Your battery will be fully charged in a fraction of the time required by conventional chargers. When the computer control determines that the battery is fully charged, the charger is shut off completely. It can also be used to charge small batteries for ATVs, motorcycles, snowmobiles, and lawn tractors, or even for batteries that have a long storage time. The SEM-1562A maintains both 6-volt and 12-volt batteries, keeping them at full charge using float-mode monitoring. The unit will automatically switch from full-charge to float-mode monitoring when the battery is charged to prevent overcharging.
